Adoption Periods:

Semester Opens Closes*
Summer February 1 March
Fall March 1 April 15
Spring September 1 October 1
*If you need to make an adoption after the close date, you must contact our Textbook Buyer, Tami Steinke, as soon as possible or risk significant delays to your course materials.

How to Submit Your Adoption

All adoptions must be submitted through Verba Collect. Please refer to your Normandale work email for a link to submit your adoption(s).


  • If you're unable to find your link, email [email protected] or our Textbook Buyer, Tami Steinke, at [email protected].
  • Adoptions are not accepted via email. If you need assistance submitting your adoption, please make an adoption appointment.

Adoptions Must Be Submitted For:

  • Any textbooks other than online OER,
  • Supplies,
  • Printed Projects,
  • Inclusive Access,
  • No Textbooks Required,
    • You will continue to receive adoption reminders until you have indicated that no text will be required for your course.
