How to Place an Adoption

*1-2-3 Step-by-Step Method*






1. Login/Register

    Already Have an Account

  • Go to "Faculty Only"
  • Select "Faculty Adoptions Login"

    Need to Register

  • Click "Register Here"
  • Select "Faculty Create an Account to Submit Textbook Adoptions"
  • Click "Submit Profile"

2. Select Adoption Method

 


3. Select Course

  • Select the Term and Department
  • Filter by selecting instructor name 
  • Check the box at the bottom if your course does not require material(s)
    • Note: Printed Projects and Inclusive Access are required material(s)
  • Click Continue

4. Add Textbooks

  • To find a textbook search by:
    • Your Book List - View your previously adopted textbooks 
    • Browse Books - Browse for textbooks by subject
    • Book Search - Search by Author, Title, ISBN, or Keyword
    • History - Search Previous adoptions by Department or Term
    • Add a Book - Add an unlisted textbook to your Adoption Cart
  • Click Adopt
  • Repeat the process to add any additional books
  • Click Continue 

5. Select Usage

  • Review your book list and select recommended code for each textbook
    • Note: PSEO students are only allowed Required materials under the PSEO program
  • Click Continue 

6. Add Message 

  • If you are requesting Inclusive Access or Printed Project material(s), you are Required to make note of it here
  • This box can be used to leave notes concerning any additional information about your course and materials you would like us to know 

7. Review Adoption

  • Confirm all information for selected textbook(s) are correct 
  • Enter any secondary recipients whom you would also like to receive a confirmation email
  • Click Submit - Adoption is not final until you click submit

8. Confirmation

  • After submission, this page should appear
