Q. What is the difference between the Campus Store and the Textbook Depot?
A. The Campus Store is located on the first floor of the Kopp Student Center, and is the place to find everything you need, except for textbooks. Textbooks can be found in the lower level of the Kopp Student Center, in the Textbook Depot. Together, the two stores make up the Normandale Community College Bookstore.
Q. What hours are you open?
A. Please refer to store hours.
Q. How do I know which books I need?
A. You will need a current copy of your class schedule (showing department, course number, and section number), to obtain books, since all books are organized by class - not by title, author or ISBN. This information is required for both online and in store purchasing.
Q. Are used books available for my class?
A. Used textbooks are available in limited quantities for many classes, and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that there will never be used textbooks that are: 1) non-bound (loose leaf), 2) for classes offered for the first time, or 3) that require access codes. To ensure that you get a textbook, please choose to allow substitution.Q. Are rental textbooks available for my course?
A. Perhaps; please refer to the Textbook FAQs.Q. How do I buy my textbooks?
A. Textbooks can be picked up in person at the Textbook Depot, or ordered online at: bookstore.normandale.edu
Orders placed online can be shipped to you (for an extra charge) or picked up at the Textbook Depot at your convenience. For online orders, you will immediately receive an e-mail confirmation that your order was received and later, another e-mail will inform you when your order has been filled, your account charged and your books are ready to be picked up. No charge will occur until your books are ready. Please wait for your second e-mail before trying to come in and pick up your web order. A photo ID is required to pick up your web order. All books purchased after the end of the second week of the semester are not returnable. Summer session textbooks are only returnable within the first week of the session.
Q. Can I cancel my online order?
A. If your order has not been processed, we can cancel it for you, but you need to contact the Web Department with your name and order number that you have received from the e-mail. Once your order has been processed, we cannot cancel it over the telephone or by e-mail. You will have to come into the Textbook Depot and pick up your order, and then return the materials that are no longer needed. Please note that the deadlines for returning textbooks ordered online are the same as those purchased in store. Any web orders that are not picked up within 6 weeks of being processed will be refunded and returned to stock, minus a 30% restocking fee.
Q. Do I need a website account to order books online?

You must use your Normandale assigned e-mail address if you plan to pay using either Financial Aid or Third-Party Accounts.Q. Which forms of payment will you accept?
