A MESSAGE FROM NORMANDALE BOOKSTORE

As a proud member of the Normandale campus community, the Normandale Bookstore places the highest considerations on the well-being of the ones we serve.  We are acting thoughtfully and preemptively to take important steps that will ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees, while focusing on remote operations and servicing customer needs.

We remain in close contact with campus administration to ensure we are supporting the needs of everyone.  Normandale Bookstore will follow any protocols set by the campus and in the event that the campus reopens, Normandale Bookstore will reopen as well.  Otherwise, we will remain closed until further notice and operate as best we can to serve customers remotely.

The Normandale Bookstore team prides ourselves in acting as a complete resource and support team for all students, faculty, staff, customers and campus partners and vendors.  The people we service and work with are our top priority and we are doing all we can to support and safeguard them as we all navigate through this difficult time.  We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates should conditions change.

Thank you for your continued understanding and patience as we all work hard to heal our communities and provide safety and health for all.  Your business is important to us and we appreciate your support as we take the proactive measures to ensure the safety of the campus store and textbook depot.  Should you have any questions or concerns regarding Bookstore operations due to COVID-19, please contact the store manager, Chris Peterson at 952-358-9130.

 Sincerely,

  The Normandale Bookstore Team

FACULTY ONLINE TEXTBOOK AND DIGITAL ACCESS SUPPORT

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Normandale Community College will be going to online only for all summer courses.  We highly recommend that all faculty adopt digital access for summer term with some issues we are seeing in the bookstore and delivery businesses.

*Timely delivery of materials

*Business being down to essential staff

*Shipment priority for essential items

*Warehouses not operating because of COVID-19 cases

For any faculty interested in transitioning to Digital Access through D2L for the summer term please contact the bookstore team at bookstore@normandale.edu.  This will ensure students have their materials on the first day of class.  Students who need to purchase physical materials will be able to do so through our bookstore website only. All materials will be shipped directly to students via free UPS Ground Shipping.
